- No Aadhaar Numbers: We never ask for, collect, or store your 12-digit Aadhaar number.
- No Ration Card Numbers Stored: Any number typed in search fields is kept in temporary memory within your browser only and is never uploaded or saved on our servers.
- No Financial or Biometric Data: We do not collect bank account details, fingerprints, or OTPs.
- No Background Location: Location permissions are requested only transiently if you click "Find Nearby Ration Shop" to generate a Google Maps search query in your browser; location coordinates are never saved.
3. Data We May Collect (Minimal / Non-Sensitive)
- Aggregate Analytics: Anonymous page hit counters to understand service performance.
- Contact Information: If you voluntarily reach out to the developer email, your inquiry is used strictly to assist and reply.
- Language Preference: A local cookie to remember your selected language (Hindi or English).
4. External Links to Government Portals
When you click on an official service link (e.g. to view the NFSA list or check status), you are taken directly to the respective government portal in your device browser. These external government websites have their own privacy practices and terms of service.
5. Children's Privacy
Our app does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
