Apply through the "New Ration Card Application" service on the UP Food & Civil Supplies (fcs.up.gov.in) or NFSA portal, where the required document list is also listed.
How do I add a family member to my ration card?
Use the "Add Member / Correction" service on the NFSA portal, or contact your local Supply Inspector office.
How do I correct details on my ration card?
To correct your name, address or other details, use the "Correction / Modification" service on the NFSA portal and upload the requested documents.
How do I download my ration card?
After logging in on the portal, use "Print/Download Ration Card" to get the PDF. This is only available on the official portal — this app never generates any document.
How do I find my nearest ration shop (FPS)?
Check the FPS list for your district and block on the NFSA or SmartPDS portal. The "Nearby Ration Shop" card in the app takes you there directly.
How do I file a complaint if I did not receive ration?
File a complaint on the UP Jansunwai/CMS portal (cms.up.gov.in), or use the NFSA grievance redressal mechanism.
What are NFSA, AAY and PHH?
Under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) there are two categories — AAY (Antyodaya Anna Yojana, for the poorest families) and PHH (Priority Household ration cards). Check eligibility and benefits on the official portal.
